By using Steward, you agree to these terms.

The app

Steward is a personal budgeting tool provided free of charge, with no ads or subscriptions. Your budget, income, expense, debt, and blessings data is stored in your Steward account (hosted on Firebase) and syncs across any device you sign in on. You're responsible for keeping your password secure — anyone who signs into your account can see and change this data.

No guarantee of outcomes

Budget projections, debt-free date estimates, and the debt-snowball plan are calculations based on the numbers you enter, assuming no interest and consistent payments. They are estimates, not guarantees, and your actual results will vary.

Your responsibility

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for any financial decisions you make using this app. Steward doesn't verify your balances, income, or payments against any bank or financial institution.

Limitation of liability

Steward and its creators are not liable for any financial loss, missed payment, or other damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Continuing to use Steward after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
